Player Safety

In 2013, the Swartz Creek Youth Football program became affiliated with U.S.A. Football. U.S.A. Football is endowed by the National Football League (NFL) and its Player Association (NFLPA) to promote football safety at all levels from youth programs, like ours, through high school, college, and professional organizations. As a result, all coaches and organization officials are trained in various safety techniques and processes. These include

• Official Concussion Awareness and Heads-Up Tackling Techniques
• Scheduled inspection and replacement of old football equipment every off-season
• Promote good hydration and nutrition practices
